Spine Care Policies Concerning Insurance

Many insurance policies provide Chiropractic coverage but benefits will vary from company to company and from policy to policy.  We do accept insurance cases under our primary care program and will prepare insurance forms to assist you in making collection from the insurance company.  We also accept certain insurance assignments.  All insurance arrangements must be approved in advance with the business office. 

Patients who carry health and accident insurance should remember insurance contracts are an arrangement between the insurance company and their customers, not between insurance companies and doctors.  All services are rendered and charged to the patient, not to the insurance company except in cases where benefits are assigned. 

Even though an insurance claim is filed, you will receive a statement each month if your account has a balance due.  This office cannot accept responsibility for collecting your insurance claim or for negotiating a settlement for a disputed claim.  You are responsible for payment of your account within the limits of our credit policy.  For your convenience, both Master Card and VISA charge cards are accepted.

Spine Care Center is a Chiropractic Health Care Center.  Our only service is to provide the very best in Chiropractic care.  All of our procedures and fees are based on this premise.  In many instances our fees are less than one half the normal cost of Chiropractic care.  These fees are made possible by seeing large numbers of patients and on all services being paid for when rendered, unless other arrangements are made in advance. 

We are able to see most insurance cases under our primary program.  Our low fee system does not, however, permit us to do intensive insurance work that involves disability ratings, extensive narrative reports to attorneys, or make court appearances in cases where litigation is involved. 

Cases of this nature certainly need and deserve Chiropractic care.  If you strongly suspect your condition may require these services, or if your Chiropractic examination reveals to us you may need these services, we will make arrangements with a chiropractor of your choice, or assist you in obtaining a chiropractor whose office procedures and fee systems are structured to better fit your needs at this time.  You may transfer back to our office for care, if you wish to do so, once you have terminated your claim for these special needs.
